Abstract :
A new systolic array is proposed for efficient implementation of two dimensional (2-D) circular convolution (CC). It performs the Chinese remainder theorem in two index coordinates in order to avoid the need of broadcasting inputs to all cells and circular communication between the cells. The array is modular with nearest neighbor communication, and it is suitable for VLSI implementation
