Abstract :
The research and application actuality of wavelet post-analysis methods in electrical transient signal analysis was introduced, and several wavelet post-analysis methods were presented, then wavelet average entropy and wavelet distance entropy were taken as examples to show its feasibility, simulation results showed that wavelet entropy is effective for fault detection, which also opened new train of thoughts on fault classification. Finally, application of several post-analysis methods in power system transient signal was discussed, which showed the importance of wavelet post-analysis
