Abstract :
The super short term load forecast (SSTLF) is important for automatic generation control (AGC) in on-line power system and plays a great role in the electricity market. According to SSTLF´s requirements of fast-calculation and high-precision, this paper implements a practical method based on the pattern of daily load curve in several Chinese provinces´ real-time EMS with different load characteristic. Some important aspects such as bad data processing and current load level are also discussed. The implemental results demonstrate that this method is fast, accurate, stable and suited to most system.
