Abstract :
In this paper, the effect of the laminated structure on the displacements of iron core obtained from the coupled static linear magnetic field and structure analyses is investigated. Moreover, the effectiveness of the homogenization technique of the laminated core is also examined. It is shown that the laminated structure affects the displacement distribution of the iron core and the distribution obtained by using the homogenization technique is in good agreement with that obtained by using the real laminated core model.
