  • Abstract
Microwave breast tumor detection is a nonionising radiation system, which will be the future development direction of clinical diagnostic. Breast Tumor Microwave Sensor System (BRATUMASS) uses the dielectric constant difference between healthy and malignant breast tissues to detect and image. The location and the extent of malignant breast tissue can be determined by analysis characteristic of echo wave, which was inspired by the electromagnetic radiation at breast tumor location. The purpose of this paper is to provide the transmission loss model. Moreover, to verify the accuracy of the models depending on the fitting analysis results of real patient data.
