Abstract :
This paper presents a robust fuzzy logic-base control scheme for a nonlinear magnetic bearing system with computing time delay. A proper Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is chosen to represent the nonlinear magnetic bearing. A fuzzy-model-based PDC controller is design in terms of a proposed delay-dependent stabilization criterion which guarantees the asymptotic stability of the fuzzy model. Simulation show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.
