Abstract :
The concept of the power quality problem is presented, which is the susceptibility of industrial equipment reliability to electric power quality abnormalities. These abnormalities are characterized. The power quality study approach is presented. Mitigation practices are reviewed. How to include power quality tolerance requirements in specifications for new process equipment is discussed. An industry survey of PQ mitigation is presented
