Abstract :
This paper proposes a blind parameter estimation algorithm for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) signal under multipath channel and affected by additive Gaussian noise. It is based on the autocorrelation property and cyclostationarity property of OFDM signal. Moreover it obtains more accurate estimated parameter values by processing the estimated set of cyclic frequencies with average idea. These parameters includes OFDM symbol period, useful symbol period, cyclic prefix length, number of subcarriers and carrier frequency interval. The computer simulation results show that blind parameter estimation accuracy rate of this method can reach almost 100% when Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) equals to 2dB under the given multipath channel. We can conclude that the proposed algorithm can reach high efficiency at even low SNR, as well as less computation.
