  • Abstract
Hybrid reactive power & harmonic compensator (HRPHC), which consists of APF and PF, have the advantage of cost-effective, large capability and compensating reactive and harmonic current smoothly. According to the configuration, a high speed and simple reference generating method is suggested, which can exact the positive sequence voltage from the asymmetrical, distorted source voltage, and the reference current can be generated by utilizing this voltage. Software simulation presents some results, which demonstrate the APF´s validity for reactive current compensation and harmonic current elimination in HRPHC
