Abstract :
This study was conducted, both theoretically and experimentally, to investigate nonlinear stress effects for in-plane diametric force-induced frequency shifts in circular SC-cut resonators. The frequency temperature characteristics under stressed SC-cuts are also discussed. The theory was expanded using the force-coefficients defined by the elastic stiffness constants. The quadric formula between the frequency, turn-over temperatures and the magnitudes of applied in-plane diametric forces is also discussed
