Abstract :
This paper proposes a zero voltage switching scheme for a three-level capacitor clamping inverter. The small rating auxiliary circuit proposed ensures not only zero voltage switching of the main switches and zero current switching of the auxiliary switches, the clamping voltage of the inverter is also stabilized. The scheme prevents any voltage or current spikes from occurring over the main or auxiliary switches and no modulation constraints are necessary. Operation, analysis, design and testing of the scheme are detailed
