Abstract :
The proliferation of mobile computing devices has led to the introduction of mobile programming courses in some colleges and universities. Service-learning is one of the academic tools that can be used to tie concepts learned in the classroom to real-world situations. This paper shows how service-learning projects were added to a mobile programming course. Examples of service-learning projects are also listed in the paper.
