Abstract :
The separation of single channel polyphonic music signal has attracted significant attention in recent years, and it is also a challenging problem in sound source separation field. In this paper we propose an algorithm to separate polyphonic music signal in single channel. This algorithm estimates multiple fundamental frequencies in frequency domain and combines the Bayesian harmonic model to estimate other parameters of the music signals, and then it realizes the separation by using all the estimated parameters. The experimental results show that the proposed method can efficiently separate polyphonic music signals in single channel.
