Abstract
The authors present an integrated three-dimensional active noise control (ANC) method with an existing audio system to reduce annoying low frequency noise. The hybrid ANC-audio system utilizes adaptive signal processing to reduce unwanted acoustic noise in the passenger compartment of a car, thus enhancing an audio source. The musical interference suppression process, which reduces the interference of musical signals in the updates of the ANC filter, also provides an optimal method for online error-path modeling. Computer simulations were conducted to verify the capabilities of interference suppression and online modeling
