Abstract :
A multiphysical algorithm for modeling and design of magnetic bearings (MB) has been developed. The presented parametric algorithm can be used for designing a magnetic bearing or predict the behavior of an already known system. The presentation includes a detailed description of the computation algorithm, simulation results, and derived design criteria. The simulation results are evaluated by measurements.
