Abstract :
Changes of basic conditions in the global trends have impact on information technology and communication technology (ICT) market. ICT will have a vital effect on the energy-related production and consumption units. Expectations to the influence on the ICT development are made by using of the obvious global tendencies whose asymmetrical shapes are become gradually formed. By taking look on the systematic coordination of obtaining, change, distribution and use of energy, in this paper the influence of the global trends on the ICT growth in the representative fields taking a deeper look on the smart metering concept, decentralization and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) concept is examined.
