  • Abstract
The Siemens Inveon Multimodality (MM) scanner is a new, highly versatile multi-modality small animal imaging platform. This platform supports combination of x-ray micro-CT, SPECT and PET modalities on a single gantry. The goal of this study is to create an automated workflow so user is able to do a PET acquisition and a CT acquisition and obtain an attenuation-corrected PET image with a co-registered CT image for anatomical reference. Method of converting CT data to linear attenuation coefficient data for use in attenuation correction in PET imaging is described.
