Abstract :
This paper deals with the electromagnetic performance evaluation of synchronous generator with outer PM rotor for small-scale wind power system. The results obtained by analytical techniques are validated by comparison with those by nonlinear finite element method (FEM) and experiments considering wind power turbine characteristics.
