Abstract :
We propose a booting process related to a wavelength initialization of light source of optical line terminal (OLT) and optical network terminal (ONT) in wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network (WDM-PON). A stable operation of wavelength initialization is observed for OLT and ONT optical transceiver. The proposed process use minimized optical devices such as filter and photo diode (PD) for wavelength initialization.
