Abstract :
Based on four coordinates series machine structure and five coordinates vector rotation, considering the structural features of the machine tool and control system characteristics, treating rotational parts processing as research object, with UG pre-processing software, a special four-axis post-processing algorithm is introduced. With this algorithm, five-axis cutter tracking document can be converted into four-axis machine NC codes and a special rear processor is built by VC++6.0. The experiments show that the algorithm fits the requirement of production well and the effectiveness of post-processing algorithm is verified.
