Abstract :
Mobile cloud computing can provide many advantages to mobile users. Storage and computing capabilities of mobile devices can be extended by utilizing cloud resources. Cloud computing can also prolong battery life of mobile devices. Web-based application delivery is one way of providing cloud services. This paper describes a Web application framework for customizable mobile cloud services. The framework supports runtime customizations of Web applications for user groups. Customizations for complex group hierarchies are supported by multilevel inheritance. Various client-side Web application technologies are supported in the framework.
