Abstract
The general principles for an analog implementation of the Hough transform used in machine vision are presented. The circuit bears some resemblance to a quadratic modulator. The implementation of a discrete prototype is described. Transforms are presented and compared with those obtained from a digital implementation. An analysis of the errors arising in this circuit is made. The current status of a fully integrated version of this circuit and future work on this aspect are described
