Abstract :
A hybrid control scheme for nonlinear discrete-time systems represented by a new class of hybrid automata, the discrete-time discrete-event automata, is proposed in this paper. A further innovative aspect of the proposed control scheme is the adoption of approximate neural receding-horizon regulators at the continuous level. The stability analysis of the proposed hybrid receding-horizon control approach is also described
