Abstract :
This dissertation is devoted to discovering the possibilities of utilizing computer mediated communication (CMC) as an instructional tool in English writing and the practical ways to address affective factors in non-English major students´ writing with the help of CMC tool - Weblog applied in this study. The specific research questions addressed in this study were: 1. To what extent does Weblog address non-English major studentspsila affective factors in writing? 2. How does Weblog contribute to the raising of students´ intrinsic motivation in writing tasks? 3. What are constrains in using Weblog to promote students´ involvement in writing?
