Abstract
Transfinite electrical networks are infinite networks in which some of the nodes are connected by infinite paths but not by finite ones. Such networks arise naturally as certain transitional cases between lumped and distributed networks, but to date neither a definition nor a fundamental theory existed for them. The structure of such networks is explicated, and some foundational theorems for the existence of unique voltage-current regimes in resistive infinite networks are stated
