Abstract :
Online monitoring partial discharge (PD) is a valid means to prevent sudden accident of the power transformer. How to discern and suppress interference is the key to PD online measuring. Chaotic system has initial value sensitiveness and noise immunity. According to the chaotic system special function in the faint signal measure, this paper applies chaotic theory in the PD online detecting to suppress kinds of interference. The special chaotic system suitable for PD detecting is structured at the foundation in Duffing-Homes. Setting the appropriate periodic parameter disturbance to control the chaotic system, the narrowband interference, periodic pulse interference can be accurately discerned and suppressed with the special chaotic system. This paper provides the results of the simulating and scene experiment, and the results show that the chaotic system can effectively restrain the interference without any influence to PD pulse
