Abstract
This article presents the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) project that will provide the means for optimizing maintenance of transmission and distribution´s inside plant assets through the use of condition-based tools. This project will integrate those technologies into a cohesive maintenance assessment, planning and equipment monitoring system focused on maintaining these assets in a safe, efficient and reliable manner. This system provide improved reliability, reduced maintenance cost, increased equipment capacity, etc. A ranking scheme of assets will be developed to determine which maintenance activities are most crucial.
