Abstract :
The paper prepared and experimentally studied the thermal properties of paraffin binary mixtures and fatty acid binary mixtures. These binary mixtures have suitable phase change temperature and big phase change latent heat for wall. The phase change temperatures and latent heats of the phase change materials were tested by differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) after multiple heat cycle. The testing results of paraffin binary mixtures and fatty acid binary mixtures were compared to analyze the thermal stability. Their thermal stabilities are good after 500 cycles, and the phase change temperatures and latent heats have small fluctuations, but there are no obvious laws. The thermal stability of fatty acids binary mixtures is better than that of paraffin binary materials. The results can provide reference for the application of paraffin and fatty acid in the field of building energy-saving.
