Abstract :
2D position access channel (2D-PAC) protocol is a dynamic channel allocation protocol. This protocol has been modified from position access channel (PAC) protocol which was developed for un-manned intelligent transport system (UMITS) project. This paper presents the 2D-PAC protocol for any MANET deployed in a two dimensional environment, describes its concept, algorithm and working, and also discusses its application areas
