Abstract :
Based on DRD (Distributed Redundant Disk) concepts, a prototype of a full distributed redundant disk (FDRD) system is presented in this paper. After introducing some basic ideas of FDRD systems, it concentrates on discussing FDRD system design considerations, such as system structure, data distribution strategies and redundancy mechanisms, data block size choice and so on
