Abstract :
This paper discusses the AC/DC/AC IGBT power converter system with a quasi-resonant circuit, which is a common commutation system for all transistors and which minimizes switching losses. The input AC/DC inverter is controlled to keep unity input power factor. The output DC/AC inverter supplies the AC motor, which is controlled by an indirect field-oriented method
