Abstract :
Type approval of GSM (CEPT Groupe Special Mobile) stations has administrative and technical aspects. The administrative procedures are the ones prepared for application to all nets. Broad areas for the testing of technical characteristics are derived from a model of the mobile station. The way in which specifications are drafted for individual areas to be tested is indicated
