Abstract
A handheld analyzer for vibration based on ARM9 and Windows CE5.0 is presented. The interface between the S3C2440A, a 32-bit ARM9-based CPU, and the ADS1274, a delta-sigma high-speed simultaneous 24-bit analog to digital converter (ADC), is described. The ADC driver program under the embedded operating system Windows CE5.0 has been developed using fast interruption technology that solved the problem of large number of serial data transmission via SPI between the S3C2440A and the ADS1274 while the ADC is high-speedily sampling. It is proved by experiment that the sampling frequency of the analyzer is up to the largest sampling frequency and the sampled wave is accurate and reliable.
