Abstract :
According to the plan of several power grid administrations, the substation of 220 kV and above voltage level and power plants with capacity of 300 MVA and above will be covered by PMUs in order to establish a nation-wide dynamic measurement system. PDC will cover provincial grids and area grids. PDCs are to be interconnected to form a nation-wide interconnected dynamic measurement system. Synchrophasors can be exchanged in all of PDCs and global function will be developed for wide-area protection, control of power system of China
