Abstract :
The GSM (CEPT´s Groupe Special Mobile) system simulator is a collection of emulation and measurement tools to be used when testing mobile stations for conformance with the CEPT/GSM recommendations. The author presents functions and requirements for the system simulator. The emphasis is placed on functions for signalling testing, since detailed information on the radio measurement equipment is not yet available
