Abstract :
Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corporation introduced a large-scale (26 kW) photovoltaic power system into a microwave radio relay station, and confirmed the functional operation and stability of this system. Two field investigations were conducted in a cold climate to ensure full operational efficiency of the photovoltaic power system. The authors describe the design of the photovoltaic system and the method of system control
