Abstract :
This paper introduces a method of using pinyin to input Chinese characters in embedded system, and provides the architecture of its hardware and software. In the software architecture it describes the data structure of the Pinyin input method the linear block table, additionally, it shows the indexing algorithm of block search and binary chop in the linear block table. Finally, there´s a comparison test of the Pinyin input method designed to proves its effectiveness.
