Abstract :
Large control output ripple in ACMC (average current mode control) PWM DC/DC converters exposes challenges in accurate modeling and design. In this paper, superposition models are utilized to perform control design analysis for ACMC PWM DC/DC converters. The ACMC DC/DC PWM converter system is converted to a cascade control structure and a step-by-step control design algorithm is then proposed. The control design algorithms differ from existing, conventional algorithms because they carefully compensate for newly discovered feed forward influence in the model.
