Abstract :
In this paper we propose a time-frequency code by 5 bands in multi-band orthogonal frequency division modulation (MB-OFDM) ultra-wide band (UWB) system to enhance the performance in a situation where interferences happen among neighboring piconets. This new time-frequency codes (TFCs) scheme is theoretically analyzed and compared with the international standard ECMA-368 in terms of collision possibility (CP) and channel diversity. A simulation is conducted to show the extra diversity. Based on the results of the simulation, we evaluate the performance of our proposal.
