Abstract
The audio processor in multimedia video conferencing system is responsible for mixing audio streams from terminals. During mixing, overflow of audio data will produce noise and affect the communication of participants. In this paper we propose a Moving-Window based Algorithm (MWA) and compare it with several other audio mixing algorithms. The experiment results show that the MWA abates more distortion of mixed audio data and increases little computing time.
