  • Abstract
    The paper evaluates quality of medical image fusion by measuring definition of fused image and the amount of edge and texture information transferred from source images to fused image. Considering the unique characteristic of medical image, expert knowledge is brought into the model to weight source images during the process of evaluation. Experiments prove that, the model can accomplish tasks of evaluating fused images in different medical image applications through adjusting parameters. And the model can reflect human visual perception as well.
