Abstract :
Based on the data provided by forty-four Provincial and municipal science and technology sectors in 2009 CHINA TORCH STATISTICAL YEARBOOK, this paper uses regression analysis method to make an empirical study on the relationship between R&D input and marketability & profitability of high tech enterprises in China. Results show that the total of R&D funding and personnel input both have significant and positive influences on the marketability, which is the foundation of profitability. However, R&D personnel intensity does not have any significant influence on the profitability of high-tech enterprises in the current period and R&D funding intensity has negative influence on the profitability in the current period.
