Abstract :
Direct-sequence spread-spectrum (DS/SS) and interpolation techniques are applied to adaptive digital signal processing. These techniques are shown to facilitate rapid convergence of adaptive algorithms with respect to the rate of the data being processed by providing more iterations of the adaptive algorithm between incoming data samples. Simulations are presented to demonstrate the ability of DS/SS and interpolation techniques to improve the rate of convergence of adaptive algorithms
