Abstract :
In this paper, a channel predictor is proposed for adaptive modulation and bit loading in OFDM systems with imperfect channel state information (CSI) and its performance is studied by simulation. The simulation results indicated that the proposed scheme is robust to the channel estimation errors due to imperfect receiver channel estimator and feedback signaling channel, and impacts of the outdated channel state information due to latency delay is suppressed. That is, by applying the scheme, the impacts of outdated CSI induced by latency delay and the errors of feedback signaling and channel estimation could be minimized.
