Abstract
We study the effect of bandlimiting transmitter filter and frequency pulse shaping filter on the bit error probability of frequency shift keying with differential phase detection in satellite mobile channel. Numerical results are presented for the case when the transmitter and receiver filters are Butterworth filters of order NT=4 and NR=3 respectively and the frequency shaping pulse is rectangular or raised cosine
