Foreword

We are pleased to present the proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Sustainable Internet and ICT for Sustainability (SustainIT 2012). The mission of SustainIT is the creation of a forum for researchers to share ideas about the novel technical challenges arising from the increasing demand for sustainable ICT and the use of ICT for sustainability. SustainIT 2012 is sponsored by theWorking Group 6.3 “Performance of Communication Systems” of IFIP Technical Committee 6, and it is technically co-sponsored by the Technical Committee on Computer Communications (TCCC) of the IEEE Computer Society.
