Abstract
This study aims at developing a radiant floor cooling system using the existing radiant floor heating system. The theoretical model of the system heat transfer was established and the heat transfer process was simulated by the finite element analysis method. The analysis results show that the cooling and heating system has good performance in energy supply. It can meet the cooling and heating energy need of energy saving heat preservation buildings with 40°C heating water in winter and with 13°C cooling water in summer. The performance of the system mainly depends on the diameter of the buried tube, water´s temperature and surface material heat conductivity.
