Abstract :
The converter consists of a third-order sigma-delta modulator, comb and finite impulse response (FIR) filters, a digital noise shaper, and a sixth-order switched-capacitor filter. The converter operates on a single +5-V supply and uses serial I/O to maintain a low pin count. The serial interface allows up to four devices to be connected, thus providing four channels of coherently sampled A/D and D/A I/O. High-level software modeling was used to simulate the system signal-to-noise performance, thereby providing design goal verification
