Abstract :
This paper derives simple but insightful models to study the conducted EMI noise of an electric vehicle (EV) traction drive, where the equivalent noise sources are characterized, dominant distribution paths are found and the spectrum of the conducted noise on the DC bus is estimated accordingly. Experiment results are included to support the proposed theoretical models
