Abstract :
The novel Multi-Band frequency hopping (MB-FH) Ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system scheme is proposed in this paper. Based on the proposed scheme, the novel UWB pulse design algorithm is presented. This novel algorithm can make the UWB pulse signal power in accordance with FCC spectral mask easily and ensure the multi-access capacity. In addition, by the aid of the Cognitive Radio technology, this novel UWB pulse design scheme can also suppress the mutual coexisting interference (CI) evidently. Mathematic analysis and computer simulation for this new algorithm are made. The simulation results show that the new UWB pulse design algorithm can suppress the mutual CI evidently under FCC spectral mask and improve the safe coexisting performance between UWB system and coexisting spectrum users.
